Prof. Dr. Julia Lehner is the Kulturreferentin of the City of Nürnberg. After graduating from high school in 1973, Julia Lehner studied German language and literature, history, social studies and art history at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nürnberg from 1973 to 1980. She completed her studies with a teaching profession at grammar schools. In 1980 she began doctoral studies in history and art history. In 1984 she finished her dissertation. In 2000 she was appointed honorary professor at the AdBK Nürnberg. Since May 1, 2002, she has been a professional city councilor and heads the Department of Culture.
